The former White House Press Secretary's tiresome spiel was always the same. Defend, defend, defend. The stress had to be overwhelming, but he faithfully toed the line, which in the end didn't really matter. It's difficult to make a con man appear like a caring individual. Perhaps a few carefully placed swearwords here and there would have kept him in good graces. But it wasn't complete, he didn't have the rest of the package. You know, not like The Mooch.
Where do we begin? Anthony Scaramucci, newly appointed White House Communications Director, brings ass-kissing to a new disgusting low. Vulgar, crude and egotistical -- sound like someone we know?
To be a surefire kiss up you have to do your best to emulate your target. How do they act, what do they like, take on their persona -- like a little boy imitating his dad shaving in the mirror. Who can resist that? Apparently, not Donald Trump.
Besides having names that begin with an article, The Donald and The Mooch have so much more in common. But then birds of a feather do flock together, there's no changing that. Not in this White House.
If you're not ready to play the game, toe the line and worship Thy King, you can pack your bags -- and don't let the door hit you on the way out.
