Our Congressional approval rating is at a staggering low with over a 75% disapproval. With those stats you'd think America would stand up and take charge. But we've gotten lazy, and always try to believe the government has our best interest at heart. It doesn't.
But pop out an invitation from the NRA and they're rushing the door like it's a members only black-tie party in their honor.

And please, don't test your ignorance by preaching the 2nd Amendment. You wouldn't fix a Jaguar with a horse and buggy manual, so please, don't tell me that the arms of 1787 are the same as today's killing machines. They're not, and we all know it.
You can make laws that protect gun owner rights by simply restricting the types of firearms and accessories accessible to the public. You have that power, use it to save lives and make the change your constituents demand.
These students don't want a photo op with the lowest rated president in recorded history -- they want action.
Republicans, get off your cowardly, greedy butts and stop letting these kids down. Haven't you killed enough of them already?
