Liberals have gone limp. Progressives have wilted their passion, or lost sight of their mission. Democrats have been co-opted and are settling for far too little.

We've made progress in waking up America. But now it's time WE wake ourselves up, elevate our standards, reinvigorate our values and make a lot of noise and DEMAND a hell of a lot more from the current crop of candidates.

I just read that the Walmart’s Walton family has as much assets as the bottom 120 million Americans combined.

And this week, the airline industry seems to be imploding, with ATA airline shutting down for financial reasons and other airlines cancelling massive numbers of flights for safety reasons.

We saw Treasury secretary Paulson pull a shock doctrine move, claiming to help out the financial markets mess by deregulating the market and giving more controls to the privately run Federal reserve.

Yesterday’s Wall Street Journal reports that hospitals and over the counter drug manufacturers were disappointed that not as many people were afflicted with the flu this year.

Two days ago, Arlen Specter threatened to shut down the senate because the Democratic majority wasn’t approving enough appellate judges—that they were fillibustering too much. Funny thing though. The Dems have done a better job than the Republicans did and the Republicans have use the fillibuster to block more bills than any congress in history.

Recent long-term projects include a book, Bottom-up-- The Connection Revolution, (more...)
