Oh and to wrap this piece up in a nice tidy package, just how secure are our borders as we worry about Iraq’s? Just today six terrorists were arrested that were set to kill soldiers at Fort Dix, New Jersey. I can hear it now. It’s a government distraction. Given the intelligence or in this case lack thereof, most likely there are terrorist cells within our borders and our government has let them slip by. Why can’t our turnip-truck elected officials end this war and use that money to secure our borders?
In closing, terrorist funding comes from the sale of illegal drugs which makes its way across our borders. In this country we see fit to incarcerate instead of rehabbing convicted drug users. The cost of rehabbing is far lower than incarceration. Again, our turnip-truck elected officials cannot see that. They just keep building prisons at tax payer expense. I would like to say to any ‘United We Stand’ folks who think nothing of smoking a joint or snorting a line that most likely it is you that is funding terrorist groups such as al Qaeda and Jemaah Islamiyah. You might ask yourself; what are they doing? They are sitting patiently waiting and yes planning. I wonder if we will be shocked as we were on that bright summer’s day when the next blow-back occurs. More importantly; will our turnip-truck government be shocked?
