This past Sunday, the CBS program ‘Sixty Minutes’ interviewed a former terrorist named Nasir Abas. Through his defection from the terrorist group, Jemaah Islamiyah which is al Qaeda’s Southeast Asia franchise he has been able to give authorities an incredible amount of information as to how this organization operates.
For those that think that groups like this are just too stupid to pull off any attack, Nasir Abas, “trained hundreds of young militants to become terrorists and became one of the most wanted men in the region. For 20 years, he worked to achieve an Islamic state throughout Southeast Asia.”
