They will often blend in with those who they think are infidels and take up their habits so as not to raise any suspicion.  Those habits are drinking, smoking and wearing cologne. This way they do not raise any red flags.

 

In fact, Mohammad Atta one of the hijackers of 9/11 even attended college.  I do not call that being stupid.  Do you?
