The answers to these questions are pretty obvious.
1. I want a presidential candidate who is committed to restraining the scope of the state and restoring civil liberties; who is committed to making government work well; who will support initiatives that help level the economic playing field while growing the economy; and who supports a foreign policy that recognizes that peace and human rights are in everybody's interest.
2. I think any Democratic nominee who doesn't talk and sound too much like a Republican can win the election this year. I think Edwards and Obama are particularly good because they understand message and communications. I also think that they don't bring much baggage to the race which makes it easier for them to connect with people.
3. Of course it does, and no it's not.
On another note, Kevin, I've got no problem with you making the case for Kucinich, but I did not start this site to create a forum to knock around Edwards or Obama.

Am I the only one who feels we have an American here who is struggling with the fact that Kucinich is the right candidate and Obama and Edwards are not? I mean, peace, human rights, civil liberties, level the economic playing field, make government work well, doesn’t talk and sound too much like a Republican, etc. Other than make government work, I don’t think Edwards or Obama are committed to any of those things talked about in the first and second answer.
I left some more comments earlier (as you may be able to tell).
This site is ridiculous and will contribute to the perpetuation of this American police state we live in.
If you really want change, if you are serious about a vision for the Democratic Party, go to Dennis4President.com and support Dennis Kucinich today.
America does not need either of the Three Stooges leading America further in a downward spiral. We need someone people can look up to like Dennis Kucinich who preaches the words of Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr. and can bring out policies that evoke memories of FDR.
I agree that Dennis Kucinich is great but we need someone who can lead, will be open to the people and will change the way we think about the people governing us in Washington! I strongly feel that that person is Barrack Obama and wholeheartedly support his campaign for change. I think he and Kucinich would make a great pair as President and Vice President.
I think you are having delusions of grandeur, Juliana. Kucinich would never be VP for Barack. You fail to understand how carefully calculate Dennis’s stances are and how uncalculated and unimaginative Obama is. You have to have an imagination and a vision to change the way government works. Nothing Obama offers (or Edwards for that matter) is any different from what we’ve seen from Gore or Kerry in the past decade.
And now for the best part---a window into the psyche of the creator of the worst progressive blog ever created.
