There is also no reason that such gun dealers should not have asked the perpetrators of mass school and church shootings what their purpose for buying a semi-automatic rifle was. This article goes in depth into the marketing procedures the gun industry resorts to in order to sell the guns, no matter why they're purchased, by young people like the Buffalo and Uvalde killers.


I am a professional musician and live alone, and have had a breakin and burglary, and even a shooting, at my property while I was out of the country touring.


In 2018, an unknown assailant climbed over my 6-foot back fence, shot my beloved dog, who, mortally wounded, retreated through his doggy door and was found dead on HIS living room floor by my longtime doggy caregiver while I was touring in Spain. The shooter didn't even try to break into my house, where the burglar alarm would have alerted the police.


I feel and share the loss the parents and other survivors of the children and elderly black women killed in the most recent attacks suffer today.


Although my firearms training began 65 years ago with the NRA at summer camp, I don't like guns. I have never collected them, and the last time I went hunting was 22 years ago.
