And it is when we are centered in that clarity that we are better able to sense truth from falsehood. That is how
we can become our own truth barometer when the outer world of media and politics fails us.
These concepts of creating clarity in order to discern truth are based in the very soil of this country, in the thousands of years of culture of the people whose land and culture was stolen and destroyed by Europeans.
When what we have been doing hasn't seemed to work, we would do well to look to the treasures of indigenous cultures for golden guidelines on how to live, including how to empower ourselves in chaotic times to ferret out the truth.
