New York Mayor Bill De Blasio made important statements on Morning Joe that should give many people pause and should keep Sanders' supporters inflated.

Bill De Blasio appeared on Morning Joe where Joe Scarborough implied that Bernie Sanders should get out of the presidential race if he loses Michigan and Florida. Bill would have none of it. He pointed out some inconvenient truths.

  1. Joe Biden did support cutting Social Security and other programs.
  2. Joe Biden told multi-millionaires and billionaires at a fundraiser that nothing would fundamentally change for them. In other words, they got rich off the backs of most Americans but will have no substantial give back to society.
  3. Joe Biden said if as Medicare for All bill came to his desk, he would veto it. In other words, he will deny coverage to millions because it does not fit the neoliberal ideology.

If a change in policy does not occur, America will be no different than many oligarchic societies where a few are able to accumulate wealth while (more...)

Egberto, what do you think will happen when Shaun King's book is published April 21, about Biden's bunch of lies about his non existent participation in civil rights struggles? Clyburn, Harris, Booker, Klobuchar, Mayor Pete, Beto and Bloomberg are all going to have to wipe the s--t off their face and apologize for their having been so badly duped, or at least they should do so.

Do you see this as changing any part of the equation? I do, but perhaps I am being naive on the high moral road, which usually portends a downfall, at least at this political juncture and chapter... and it depends on what the reviewers say and how quickly they get this word out. I read the redacted version, 2 Truths and 29 Lies, and I honestly believe NO African American voter would ever vote for him ever again, after they read that book. Out of disgust, they might even just vote for Trump!
