Hillary, Bill, and Joe have done the hard job of redefining the platform for Barack so that he doesn’t have to anymore.
McCain’s people won’t be able to hold these things against him later as “flip-flops” because his auxiliary team did it for him.
No, I am not proud of the Democratic Party at this point. I once was, years ago. Long before things were taken off the table and constitutional rights were shelved. it used to be we knew who the enemy was. What they stood for. Who they served. Now, things are just a little greyer in the middle as our heros turn out to be Judas.
You enjoy that speech tonight, because tomorrow McCain announces his running mate, and the game really takes off from there. We’ll see another one time democrat shapeshift to the center. And I hope, against all hope, that then you will know the game is pretty much over as it has been played in the past, and a new one must begin.
