Did she talk about the “free-trade” policies that have destroyed the Middle Class and Working Class of this country? Oh yes she did

“…and meet the global challenges of our time. Democrats know how to do this. As I recall, President Clinton and the Democrats did it before…” and she is absolutely correct.

Clinton passed NAFTA and companies like WalMart, that the Clintons had stock in and Hillary had been on the Board of Directors of, profited to the tune of billions of dollars at the direct cost of the American Workforce. It was NAFTA that turned the number one employer in this country from good paying, unionized GM into starvation wage paying non-union WalMart. And that is a fact.

We need a president who understands that the genius of America has always depended on the strength and vitality of the middle class.” Clinton

And Obama has surrounded himself with Clinton’s old economic advisory team.

But Hillary’s speech was by far the tamest in the call for ‘centrist” policy support of the DNC and Obama’s team. Bill Clinton, father of NAFTA and serious promoter of Globalization/Free-Trade policies all across the Third World nations, went quite a few steps further in that direction.

Barack Obama also will not allow the world’s problems to obscure its opportunities. Everywhere, in rich and poor countries alike, hardworking people need good jobs; secure, affordable healthcare, food, and energy; quality education for their children; and economically beneficial ways to fight global warming. These challenges cry out for American ideas and American innovation. When Barack Obama unleashes them, America will save lives, win new allies, open new markets, and create new jobs for our people.”  Clinton.

In chaos, in turmoil, there is opportunity. It is the creed of the Globalist/Free-Market/Disaster Capitalist. The jobs Clinton speaks of bringing to the impoverished nations of the world are more of the same “Free-Trade Zone” type slave/starvation wage “opportunity” that Clinton and his elites have been busy infecting the world with over the past 14 years.

Make no mistake about it, Bill Clinton doesn’t talk about unilateral trade agreements and ending the plague of NAFTA and “Free-Trade” that has killed this nation. Rather, he attempts to dress the philosophy so that “liberals” will see it as something it is not; beneficial for the common man. It’s the same bullcrap he sold it with a decade and a half ago, back when people like Nader and Perot were saying it would be the death of the Middle Class. And here Bill is again, serving the same elites he did back then, while the “progressive” democrats eat it up as populous rhetoric.

But perhaps the most insulting of all the Big Three speeches came from Obama’s Vice Presidential choice, Joe Biden.

Now one thing he didn’t talk about in his speech was the mistake of the illegal invasion of Iraq. Why, you ask? Because, like Hillary, he not only voted for giving Bush the authorization to invade Iraq, he also gave speeches about the need to do it. He was a strong advocate for the war in Iraq.

In fact, at that time, from 2001 to 2003, he was Chairman of the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations. He argued in 2002, well before Bush’s resolution hit the House, that Saddam was a threat to the US with NO OPTIONS but to remove him.

It is difficult to over-estimate the critical role Biden played in making the tragedy of the Iraq war possible….”

“In his powerful position as chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, he orchestrated a propaganda show designed to sell the war to skeptical colleagues and the America public by ensuring that dissenting voices would not get a fair hearing.

As Scott Ritter, the former chief UN weapons inspector, noted at the time, “For Sen. Biden’s Iraq hearings to be anything more than a political sham used to invoke a modern-day Gulf of Tonkin resolution-equivalent for Iraq, his committee will need to ask hard questions – and demand hard facts – concerning the real nature of the weapons threat posed by Iraq.”

It soon became apparent that Biden had no intention of doing so. Biden refused to even allow Ritter himself – who knew more about Iraq’s WMD capabilities than anyone and would havetestified that Iraq had achieved at least qualitative disarmament – to testify. Ironically, on Meet the Presslast year, Biden defended his false claims about Iraqi WMDs by insisting that “everyone in the world thought he had them. The weapons inspectors said he had them.”.
