Sixty to seventy percent of the people who will do the AWSC will be on the young side. They talk about idealism but we do not give enough of them the chance to practice it. They look for jobs --- but we don't have gritty jobs that teach them the value of trying work. They think they know of the world via pixels --- but they don't get involved enough in the real world to know its complexities. They think political demonstrations or gatherings prepare them for politics --- when public service is the foundation for later political insights and life that would better serve world and national needs.
Those candidates who help introduce the AWSC Congressional Proposals will win masses of voters. Very few oppose the details listed in the American World Service Corps (AWSC) Congressional Proposals, while an overwhelming majority strongly supports them.
Why not urge you congressional rep to consider being an original sponsor on the American World Service Corps (AWSC) Congressional Proposals? Why not help spread the AWSC word in other ways?
America needs to do more than just dabble with greatness. It needs to engrain greatness into its character through service.
