This is what Goethe is talking about with his give them the stone of Sophia and you'll find philosophy gone, and what's left? The stone. Sophia was also seen as a Virgin meaning that She was the container of the Unmanifest Potential or Implied Order that is sparked into giving birth to a thought, baby or new insight.
The stone or gift of Wisdom is true atheism. A truly atheistic mind is virgin, meaning deconditioned, and therefore likely to produce something that has evolved beyond or into another state from the status of the general species.
This is why virgin birth stories often have the babies such as Christ at-risk for being killed by the powers-that-be. Christ is the deconditioned mind. And, yes, this mindset could be the end of western civilization. The end of western civilization will not come about by an external God. It will come about via all of us, people, plants, animals, etc.
It is our idealisms that we need to let go of.
Likewise Meister Eckhart, a 14th century monk who was excommunicated by the church said, "Be in the same way as when you were not." Meanwhile, Christ said, "be ye like an infant."
So, to summarize: Christ is an atheist and the Man on the pulpit spouting scriptures is a farce. So are the government rulers and their bosses, the corporations.
This top-down activity is simply the way towards keeping us in our place as the audience. It is also the reason for the dumbing down our kids.
Our kids are spellbound.
