Here is my prediction of how this case will play out. After the people have voted, the defendants will be asked to stand while the verdict, together with the sentence, is read, "We the jury, the American people, have found you the defendants guilty on all charges. Your sentence will be that you must leave the U.S. House and Senate immediately, hopefully never to return."
Well, quite obviously, even if the trial is that successful, some Republicans will be exempted because the evidence against a few of them was not strong enough and, therefore, some will remain in the Congress. But the main success will come from the fact that the Republican Party will be rendered powerless and the vicious agenda of their party to tear down the social foundations of this nation will end in complete failure.
