Nope, it was a bunch of driven men and women, cutting up corpses stolen from the cemetery, peering into primitive microscopes, tinkering with chemicals, trying and failing a hundred thousand times until they succeeded. They succeeded.
Which is why I'm putting my money on the indomitable human spirit and not Ebola. Trust me, my fellow sissy cynics, Ebola has no chance. It's up against the deadliest enemy in the world. Humanity.
