We will have to see which policies of Trump's we progressives need to oppose. A president's first hundred days can shape his Administration more than the rest of his term. Trump will enter office in much the same position as FDR, with both houses of his own party, so big changes are almost guaranteed. We live in interesting times.
* Full Disclosure: I sent Donald Trump my book, "America is Not Broke!" last January, which contains, among other things, proof from 2 studies showing that the multiplier effect makes Social Security a net positive program that ought to be expanded, providing not only better lives for Seniors, but more money in the economy. I don't know if he's read it (probably not) or even understands the concept of "multiplier" but the effect of leaving Social Security alone, if followed, will be positive for the economy, whether he or Paul Ryan believe it or not.
