Republican Senators are violating their Oath of Office by refusing to consider any Supreme Court nominee The Senate Republicans, with a few exceptions, have sworn to reject ANY supreme court nominee made by president Obama. At the same time, they had previously sworn to uphold the Constitution. One of these oaths is in conflict with the other, and the result is a felony for which these Senators can and should be arrested.

Close the Greenway Gap in East Side Manhattan Nine Bicyclists have been killed in East Midtown from 1995-2007 and hundreds injured. Every day, hundreds of bikers have to use heavily congested First and Second Avenues in competition with trucks, buses, taxis, cars, road construction, 3 major exits/entrances to the FDR, hills, and even other bikers, when just a couple of blocks to the east sits the unfinished Greenway that serves as a highway for bikers around Manhattan.

Countering the reactionary Right on the Radio I was interviewed on WGDR radio this morning (use the drop-downs to select 7/9/12 from 9:00-10:00AM) on Georgism, State Banking, Greenbacking, etc., based on a rebuttal I did to a Daily Bell article advocating none of the above - it's as if they picked out everything I love! We even got to talk about how human psychology prevents us from seeing solutions even when they are presented.

Senator Gillibrand moves forward on White-Nose Syndrome in Bats A previously undescribed, cold-loving fungus has been linked to white-nose syndrome, a condition associated with the deaths of over 100,000 hibernating bats in the northeastern United States.
