I am the only statewide candidate listed for the Progressive Party on
the ballot. There is one Prog/Dem listed for Governor and he is representing
both the Progressives and Democrats, as allowed under Vermont Law;
but his listing on the official election ballot says "Prog/Dem"
That person is Lieutenant Governor David Zuckerman, running as
"Prog/Dem" for Governor. There are Progressive Party candidates listed
for State Senator and State Representative on the ballot in the election
but they are in various counties and not listed in every county, so
they are not statewide.
So, why now? Why did Facebook kick me out October 13, 2020?
Probably because I posted the link to the candidate information guide.
But who else could have complained to facebook about the link, other than
candidates for the Progressive Party in Vermont who are not happy that I am
on the ballot for 5 offices. Please note: for the five offices I won, NO ONE
RAN AGAINST ME. What could they be angry about? Any of them could have run against me. I was on the ballot for seven offices and only two people
ran against me, one for Governor and one for Representative to US Congress,
and they each won. How could there be any resentment against me?
Now, who else could be so furious with me that they would convince facebook
that I violated community guidelines just by posting an official link?
Well, let's start with the Republicans and Democrats. Most of them,
by October 13, 2020, had not filed any information to be posted on the
Vermont Secretary of State Elections Division candidate information guide.
The Democrat for President, Joe Biden, had not bothered to be listed.
The Republican for President, Donald Trump, had not bothered to be listed.
Even the Vermont Secretary of State, Jim Condos, running for re-election,
had not bothered to be listed.
Why? Another candidate who insists he sent in his information to be listed,
but was not listed, H. Brooke Paige, running for two offices - Attorney
General and Secretary of State, told Cris Ericson (that's me) that no one
looks at the link so most candidates didn't bother. I told him it was
difficult to find the link.
The curious thing is that by October 13, 2020, about over 90,000 or more
Vermonters had already voted absentee, write-in, mail-in, or delivered their ballot
in person to their town clerk. How many had seen the candidate information guide?
How many were provided with the link? This information is required by State law, 17 V.S.A. Section 2902 through 2906, Vermont Statutes.
So, who kicked me out of Facebook by convincing Facebook that I violated
community guidelines by posting an official state government link
to political candidate information? Did facebook employees think up this
idea all by themselves? Is Facebook littered with little fascist,
totalitarian, dictatorial minds working there behind the scenes to
eradicate my presence?
Was I personally attacked and reported to Facebook by Democrats
and Republicans who didn't bother to file information about their
campaigns to be posted in the guide? What did these possible
attacks against me read like? Why doesn't Facebook show me
what their problem with me is? Why doesn't Facebook clarify if
it was their own employees instigated by Democrats or Republicans,
or their own employees enjoying their fascist power, or what?
What?
How do I start a list of people to blame? How do I start the
blame game when it could be some kind of computer-program robot
that issued the verdict that my Facebook account would be discarded
and deleted and demeaned and disabled.
Does Facebook's use of the word "disabled" insult an entire
population of people living with disabilites?
Why did Mark Zuckerberg chose that word?
I am at a loss to explain the situation. I don't know if
the Progressives attacked me by complaining about me "violating
community guidelines". I don't know if it was the Republicans
or Democrats. I don't know if it was Facebook computer robots.
I don't know if it was Facebook employees living high on the
joy of their power to be fascist, totalitarian dictators.
I know one thing: Facebook has altered the outcome of the
2020 election. Facebook should be put out of business.
Facebook should be charged with all kinds of anti-trust
violations. Facebook should be charged with some kind of
election-law violations for providing "in-kind" donations of
political campaign pages to some candidates and not others.
Facebook should be charged with stealing my time by allowing
me to make a candidate page, and then deleting it.
Facebook is subverting American democracy.
As I sit here alone, my friends and family on facebook
may be wondering where I am. I am alone.
How many others are there? How many people has Mark Zuckerberg
lured into facebook to visit with their family and friends,
and then torn them apart without notice?
