The sad part is that because there's such a political advantage issue for the Republican by which to bash the Dems that they will continue to nurture the transgender/sports issue. And it's hard for the Dems to defend against common sense.

Again, the fastest female miler will not run faster then the fastest male, nor lifting weights. We all see the difference. So why tarnish the accomplishments of real females who've sacrificed exceptional training by which to achieve victory, while a mediocre male grabs the gold.

Dems and Repubs will continue to trade claims because it's all been turned into a war.

Just like Putin not wanting to stop his war, so are the Republicans keeping this issue alive, feeding examples. And Democrats continue to seek resolve but lack the common sense.

Unfortunately, instead of both sides slashing each other, back and forth. Why not seek a compromise to this one common sense issue. It should be common sense easy.

How about instead of forming two categories of competition Male/Female -- let's do three: Male, Female, Transgender. In high school, depending on the number of eligible contestants, there would be competitions each week. swimming, track, etc., either at a county or state level. Granted the limelight might not be as bright but the competition would be equal and fair to some degree,

Last year I watch a mile race where a transgender runner earned a medal and a chance to represent this country, by beating a female by only a step or two.

In fact Congress could probably codify some law, for the sake of safety concerns. I think a bill like that would probably pass with bipartisan support, if only to rid the chaos of this one issue that Trump keeps reminding us about.

Three categories instead of two. A simple path to a resolution. Don't you think?

I have long thought that adding a third category made more sense and I agree!

Nevertleless, the statment "There are only two genders at birth male and female" is not accurate. The indigenous people of this land recognized more genders than that (seven, I believe), and certainly people born intersex are entitled to their own category.

I'm curious, what are the seven genders and are they all distinguished by physical traits upon birth?
