Griffin: Oh, no progress with Matt; but I was aiming at the readers of AlterNet, because this is the first time to my knowledge that they have let anybody from the 9/11 Truth Movement on their site.
You know, most of these sites won't even let us on. counterpunch for a long time wouldn't allow any 9/11 Truth article on there; finally, Paul Craig Roberts was writing about other things and then "snuck" in some things about 9/11 Truth and kind of broke the barrier there, but for the most part they just won't even give us a forum, it's all a one-sided conversation, "You're just a bunch of conspiracy nuts, but you are so stupid we're not even gong to let you speak back."

Right before we started this conversation tonight, he sent me an email about some news that the Russians are holding some panel discussions on 9/11 and that they're challenging the truth; it's interesting the other day, Putin suggested that the reason that Bush and Cheney were reacting the way they did to the Russian Georgian invasion was to help McCain win the presidential election.
I wonder if the Russians are going to start talking about 9/11 Truth?
I would imagine that with their espionage resources they would have some information that is not generally available.
Gold: The interesting thing about Putin is, I believe—Dr Griffin, you can correct me if I'm wrong, but in the days prior to 9/11, he actually sent a warning did he not, with regard to something similar to 9/11?
Griffin: I heard something about that, I can't verify that, I don't know for sure what that was; but this conference is a very interesting thing, because several months ago I went over and this film by this Italian Giulietto Chiesa (CHIESA, Giulietto), who's a member of the European Parliament and this was played in the European Parliament building, and he brought several of us together to have that discussion, including (Yukihisa) Fujita from Japan, the Senator there who has spoken out.
