Let’s call an angry grandpa an angry grandpa, shall we?
Come on people. The bottom line is the Republican Party was at an utter loss for a decent candidate from the get go. They chose McCain because he was campaign tested and had name recognition. With 8 years of Bush /Cheney and Hillary Rodham Clinton as the presumptive nominee, it was certain the Democrats would win. I’ll even argue that the Republicans who had a shot at the Presidency were sitting this one out because of the projected slaughter come election day! Nobody could imagine Barack Obama would go all the way, and because of negative images, associations and the fact that he’s black actually gave the Republican nominee a shot at the White House.
That being said, McCain was the victor and McCain is still an angry grandpa. Now his infamous temperament is showing up in front of millions of viewers. It’s becoming a pretty clear choice to undecided’s now.
We all love our angry grandpa, we just don’t like him so much and we’re damn sure not going to let him get behind the wheel!
