Shrimp with Black Bean Sauce and Noodles

There is much more to the humble noodle than first meets the eye. Noodle dishes are rich, colorful, and delicious. Prepared in minutes, the noodle is arguably the worlds first and fastest fast-food. Low in fat and high in fiber and carbohydrates, noodles provide instant energy.

Shrimp with Black Bean Sauce and Noodles

10 oz. dried medium egg noodles

2 tbsp vegetable oil

1 inch fresh ginger, peeled and chopped fine

3 cloves garlic, crushed

4 oz small cooked shrimp, shelled

12 large cooked shrimp, shelled and deveined

1 small red bell pepper, sliced

4 scallions, chopped into 1- inch lengths

Freshly ground black pepper

1 tbsp sesame oil

8 tsp soy sauce

2 tbsp dry sherry
