Tony Romo Suspended After Drunk Driving Arrest, Conviction

On July 23, former NFL quarterback and CBS football analyst Tony Romo got pinched for drunken driving under the influence after he refused to do a blood test. After the incident, Romo went on Instagram and claimed ownership of the incident. He said that he had suffered back injuries during his playing days, which led to an addiction to pain medication. He also said that he ended up switching addictions from the pain meds to alcohol.
