The Baltic States are begging the US for new weapons Baltic countries want to purchase a large-range multiple rocket launchers. This was stated by the Minister of Defense of Lithuania after meeting with his colleagues from Estonia and Latvia. It is safe to say that there is no money for the purchase of modern long-range artillery of the Baltic countries. As usual, they will have to ask for the debt among Americans.

Baltics threaten each other According to the joint communique' signed by the Baltic States' defence ministers on May 24, "the threat picture has become more complicated due to Russia's unpredictable and opportunistic behaviour." Once again they underlined the importance of the sustainable development of defence capabilities and ensuring deterrence, the importance of transatlantic relations, and the need for the presence of Allied NATO forces

NATO "bombard" Belarus and Russia from Poland NATO-Russia relations are quite complicated now. The situation is not expected to improve in near future. NATO is building up its offensive capabilities year after year. The intensity and scale of NATO exercises permanently increase. At the same time, areas of the exercises are closer and closer to eastern borders. It is important to note that actions of troops during NATO exercises quite often are similar to offensive.

Foreign military against population of Poland and the Baltic States The virtual summit of the heads of state of the Bucharest Nine (B9) was held on May 10. The agenda of the high-level meeting covers the preparations for the NATO Summit that will be held in Brussels in June, with a focus on consolidating the transatlantic relationship and of the allied stance on the Eastern Flank.
