Biography- Philip A. Farruggio is a free lance columnist, small businessman and WPUL 1590AM radio's host of the "ProActivist Talk Show". Brooklyn NYC born and bred, he is the son and grandson of Brooklyn longshoremen. A graduate of Brooklyn College (class of '74) Philip has had over 60 political columns published in various newspapers and online sites since the 2000 elections. The Callousness of the Corporate Military Empire A DuPont Corporation armaments factory in southern New Jersey has been contaminating the area around it since the 1880s. What is really troubling is that DuPont, like most callous corporations, never gave a rat's ass about their workers' or local residents' well being.

The Fix is (Always) In The best examples of the 'Fix being in' were the presidential elections of 2000 and 2004. They revealed to anyone with even half a brain the corrupt nature of this empire. Talk about Banana Republic!

Anger Misdirected: It's the Empire... Stupid!! This writer is adding an ending to an old adage. 'Ignorance is bliss... but deadly to those who know better'. We have two recent instances that prove my point, one from the so called ' populist right ' and one from the so called ' populist left'.
