Trump promised to drain the swamp. instead he expanded and further polluted the swamp, feeding all of its vile denizens. Here are some ideas on how to actually drain the swamp.

- Debillionairize the planet. Take the money used to produce corruption out of the equation.

- Pass legislation that ends corporate personhood. Add a tough corporate death penalty that either kills corporation or acquires them to be owned by the government.

- make elections publicly financed to take the money out of them. No PACs, no outside money, no black-money. Pass legislation to make it clear that Citizens United was an affront to democracy and clearly illegal.

-Term-limit all elected offices and government appointments, including the Supreme court and federal judges.

-Either ban or tightly control lobbying, including making it illegal for former members of congress and their staffers to be lobbyists for at least four years after they leave congress.

-require that the military and intelligence agencies be tightly regulated, audited and supervised by civilian review boards. The military intelligence complex is completely out of control and dangerous to democracy and the future of the planet and humanity and the planetary ecosystem.

- Pass legislation to keep government and corporations as small as possible, including taxes that make it more expensive to be a big corporation with many subsidiaries. Fund research to develop new business models that encourage small business and discourage big business. Break up too-big banks, media, etc.

- Tax assets over ten million dollars for individuals and over $20 million for families.

-Make war on secret banking and investing, like that done in the Cayman Islands. Seriously, declare war on places that enable the wealthy to evade accountability.

- Apply bottom-up values to policy and lawmaking. That means making thinking about what's good for the community, for the people a priority. This will include democracy, transparency, prevention of extractive, exploitive business that creates exploits and does not pay for externalities. Support policies that create positive externalities-- benefits not usually measured or considered, like benefits to a community. Start supporting cooperation, community, interdependence.

-Identify and restrict top-down policies-- hierarchy, centralization, seniority systems, secrecy, Big Agriculture and monoculture farming. Stop celebrating individualism that rises to the level of narcissism.

- Start jailing corporate criminals. Institute laws that make it easier to indict and prosecute corporate executives who perpetrate crimes against nature, against humanity and communities.

- Make it a crime to take foreign money directly or indirectly for politics, including payment for advertising.

-Figure out how to take down billionaires and the ultra wealthy out of the USA.
