The DIA report, formerly classified "SECRET//NOFORN" and dated August 12, 2012, was circulated widely among various government agencies, including CENTCOM, the CIA, FBI, DHS, NGA, State Dept., and many others. The document shows that as early as 2012, U.S. intelligence predicted the rise of the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL or ISIS), but instead of clearly delineating the group as an enemy, the report envisions the terror group as a U.S. strategic asset.
"CONCLUSION: The Deep State, as an invisible government using illegal and covert operations to conduct operations hidden from the public and often civilian authorities, was created under the Eisenhower tenure, by the Dulles brothers, as an adjunct to the Eisenhower Doctrine of US hegemony, nuclear blackmail, and intolerance of neutrality. "You are either with us or against us", as Bush II reiterated in foreshadowing the criminal war against Iraq.
The Deep State was the underground tentacles of Wall Street and the industries it dominates through financing. The center of this financial universe has been Goldman-Sachs which provided the Secretary of Treasury, who orchestrated the financial collapse and Wall St. bailout, Henry Paulson who went from CEO of Goldman Sachs to the White House, and which today, in the Trump regime, has 6 Goldman-Sachs alumni running the country. In all fairness, the Clinton Presidency also placed a Goldman executive in charge.
In his classic essay "The Great Bubble Machine" Matt Tabai described Goldman-Sachs with an image that can equally be applied to the Deep State that serves Wall Street and its subsidiaries in Big Oil and Big Defense (War): "The world's most powerful investment bank is a great vampire squid wrapped around the face of humanity, relentlessly jamming its blood funnel into anything that smells like money."
