Think people! or educate yourself! Take a government economics class. If every member of the Tea Party did that - there wouldn't be a Tea Party - there would be a massive Democrat majority, because I sincerely believe that with true knowledge of economics policies that work to benefit all Americans and not just a select few, the Tea Party would be aligned with the Democratic party, which is the party that works for these policies.
[Note: there is an exception -those "conspiracy soakers' that think higher education is somehow corrupted by liberal brainwashing]
If there is anything wrong with government it is our campaign finance laws and policies that allow lobbyist to rule Washington. Public financing would cost the taxpayers miniscule amounts and the returns would be enormous!
Our public servants would be working for us and not to win their next election by catering to corporate lobbyists. You would see this country turn around completely with good high-earning jobs coming back to America and more wealth in the middle class instead of 97% of all the wealth in America being controlled by the top 1%. You wouldn't have 86% of all wealth in America controlled by only 5 banks putting us at risk for financial collapse. You wouldn't have health insurance companies denying care and letting people (including children) die even after receiving payment - because they have 47 lobbyist for each of our congressmen and women.
We don't need less government what we need is less corporate influence on our government!
