Vernon's treks:
2006 was seven weeks 3500 miles from Everett, WA, to Washington, DC. 2007 was six months 4500 miles Corvallis, OR, to Washington, DC, via San Bernadino, New Orleans, and St Louis, plus I soloed down the east coast to Florida and across to New Orleans for two more months. In 2010 I started with a solo trip from Corvallis, OR, to Oakland, CA, via Chico, then spent two months on the group ride to DC following Adventure Cycling maps - Western Express and TransAm.
