3. HOWEVER, "bottom up" collective intelligence is agile, intuitive, ethical in the aggregate, and so on. This is REALLY SIMPLE: restore the integrity of the electoral system (local to national) and get out of the way. This is called Epoch B Leadership. It is also the root "good" of Advanced Information Operations. You start by empowering your own public and not lying to them.

RDS: Well, you just read a very good portion of the book and I would certainly encourage people to either buy the book, The Open-Source Everything Manifesto, or download it from Pirate Bay, although that seems to come with a whole bunch of viruses. This is the one book that I don't own myself -- I made a bargain with the devil in order to put it into bookstores and it's not a bargain that has paid off. But I would be very glad if people would go to their bookstores and ask them to order copies of The Open-Source Everything Manifesto. I'll also give you a tiny URL where I have published a number of extracts from all of the chapters of the book, and that tiny URL is forward slash O-S-E in capital letters, dash 2-0-1-4. So OSE-2014 is at tinyurl that also where you can find my Open-Source Everything Manifesto lecture to the liberation technology conference in New York City a month ago.

Rob: Okay. Then you said "People need to start blogging retroactive impeachments." Talk about that.

RDS: Well, one of the things that strikes me as absolutely remarkable is how little history people remember. For example, although did a wonderful thing on 935 lies that led us into the Iraq war and Charles Lewis now has a book by that title out, nobody is holding their individual congressmen and senators accountable for having been party to allowing those 935 lies. Now I was...back then I was a minor millionaire before the Defense Office of Hearings and Appeals destroyed my business, and I put money into a fund to put full page ads into the Washington Post and the New York Times and the Los Angeles Times was refused. They said those advertisements were unpatriotic. Now the Dixie Chicks, when they condemned Bush, were treated in a similar fashion. And of course history has now shown that we were both absolutely correct. But the public is not treating its officials...it's not holding its officials accountable for past mistakes.

Now I personally favor a jury system for Congress -- I'm fed up with elections because elections, even if you get the money out them, tend to be corrupted in too many different ways. And I actually believe we would have a smarter, more ethical Congress if we literally picked lots and sent people to Congress for set of years, and in fact I'd even double up on my congressmen so that one goes for four years and half-way through there you have a second one that's in training, providing oversight but not to vote. And you really make it a people's Congress. Retrospective impeachment, for me, is a way of keeping current people honest. They need to understand that no matter how long it takes, eventually they will be held accountable for their crimes and the public will know that they betrayed the public trust.

Rob: And how do you envision that would look, retrospective impeachment?

RDS: Well, I strongly favor citizen journalism and I strongly favor more investigative journalism, which is not something the New York Times or the Wall Street Journal do anymore. So I basically...you know when I spoke at Gnomedex -- hackers conference...a technogeek hackers conference in Seattle in 2007...I said attach yourselves to individual issues, people and corporations, and products like leeches...and publicize it. One of the problems with the internet today is that it lacks structure and it lacks authenticity. It's very, very hard to actually pull together a validated, compilation of information in which you can actually trust what's there. An enormous amount of what's on the internet is just utter crap, and it lacks provenance in art sense. So bottom line here is I think history is very, very important; we don't do enough of it. Much of our history is false. For example, we're still teaching that we went into Vietnam because the North Vietnamese attacked us -- they did not. There's an awful lot of falsehood in our American books. There's an awful lot of falsehood in our public declarations. I think it's time we start holding people accountable for telling the truth, both past and present.

Rob: Sounds good to me. I would guess that on my site, OpEdNews, probably has close to a thousand articles on impeachment in it. And we're just starting to see a new round where people on the left are calling for Obama's impeachment.

RDS: (Laughs) Oh...I, you know...I think we need to wrap up this interview. But one of the things I really believe very strongly is that there is no future for the two-party tyranny in the United States of America. It is like the syphilitic grandfather that just needs to die and be buried.

Rob: (Laughs) I like that. Alright so, I have...we'll wrap up, but I got to ask you one question -- you really intrigued me. Well you went for 4 hours Saturday night, but you said one thing that just fascinated me -- you talked about alien technologies, underground cities, and extraterrestrial intelligence. You want to talk about that?

RDS: Not particularly. I mean there are books about it -- I've reviewed books about it. Let's just wrap up with telling people that they can find my thoughts -- my political thoughts here at bigbatusa.org and I host over 800 contributors at phibetaiota.net.

Rob: Okay, you're an amazing, fascinating, encyclopedic man and I appreciate the time you spent with us.

RDS: Well I appreciate you having me on, and I really do hope that your listeners will be inspired to go beyond the crap that is being given to them by the government, such as the unemployment rate, which is closer to 22% if you go to shadowstats.com. The government lies and what we need to do now is get a public that can detect lies and discern the truth and share the truth, and that's something I'm not sure we can get to in the near future.

Rob: Yeah, it's our current education system, that's for sure. Alright I'll let you go. Thank you so much.

RDS: It is my honor to be on your show, thank you.

Rob: See ya.
