As an OpEdNews Multi-Media Editor, I post five videos each week that I think you should see. I do not do this to select videos that represent the top news stories of the week. I pick five videos that I think show something that may have been underreported or that I think should be seen by you because of what the video shows.
Before selecting the five for the week, I spend time looking for work from independent video producers, broadcast journalists, and documentary filmmakers. After looking at what was posted in the past week by independent media makers, I move on to clips from corporate news and, if there is something good for people to watch, I include it as one of the five even though it is not independent.
