We are Vietnam veterans. We served,
Where these, our brothers, all the honored dead,
Met their end. We, the dead inoculi,
Honor the warriors, but not the wars.
Some ask us, "what do your fatigues stand for?
Vietnam Veterans Against the War?
What war? That war's been over four decades."
Well, sorry, that war is still going on.
In each and every country that we bomb,
Or sell the weapons to so they can bomb,
In every nation that endures our threats,
It's every conflict that we connive in,
The cruel neocon geopolitics,
And now with open hand we do this stuff.
