My words are intended to challenge and condemn, not insult. The United States gives Israel $5 billion a year, and that makes the consequent action my concern as an American citizen and a morally-engaged human being.
As for my homework, if you are referring to '48, '67, 73 among many other actions in between and after, inspired to destroy Israel, I certainly condemn such action. I certainly recognize and condemn a diverse and historic anti-Semitism pervasive throughout the world.
And I suggest that 3.8 million Palestinians who wish for a safe, secure, contiguous Palestinian state with self-determination, water and autonomy can live peacefully next to Israel (although certainly that will not be satisfactory to many) with the assistance of a UN-enforced buffer zone. This despite the horror that right wingers inflicted onto the Palestinians in the late 40s and early 50s.
I blow the whistle on this continuing atrocity that as a US citizen I support (through tax dollars) and object to (as a member of the moral universe). If condemning violence makes me an a**hole, then your characterization is correct. But I note that such a**holes were in short supply during the Holocaust.

Subject: Israeli Attack "Terribly Wrong"/ thanks, and apologies
dear mr leon.
thank you for taking the time to reply.
i also apologise for my manner. after reading your email i felt that perhaps you are decent person who is trying to voice his opinion, and this is very welcome.
the reason i got upset is because you called israeli PM a terrorist. Not that i really care about mr sharon political career, but i do not think we can let people in the media trivialise the issue of who is a terrorist, and what are terrorist acts. and just let people call who ever they feel like 'a terrorist'
the palestinian war against isarel is full of such rhetoric's, and we got too much of that already.
there are a lot of ethnic minorities around the world that do not have a state. do they resolve to terrorism?
The jews themselves have been persecuted for centuries, did they ever resolve to terrorism ? never. ( even the bombing to king george hotel is questionable since it was a british headquarter, hence a military target.
the only point i am trying to make, and that a lot of people in the enlightened world do not understand is: if the israelies were as bad as the media tries portrays them, there would be no palestinians left alive in this world.
