Exhibit 3: After I had sent CPIC the requested documentation, my embed request was accepted on January 19, 2008 -- with a cc to ARCENT in Kuwait informing them that I would be arriving:
Jane Stillwater,
Congratulations! You've been approved for the 3 ID from February 14, 2008 - March 3, 2008. Please let us know your travel plans so we can prepare for your arrival.
When planning your travel arrangements to Kuwait you MUST arrive FOUR days prior to the embed start date listed above. This will provide time for any last minute paperwork and other embedding issues prior to your embed.
Please also note that when your embed is completed you will be traveling from BIAP to your final destination, unless other arrangements are made. You must let the Media Embed Team know 7 days prior to your planned departure, so that a flight can be arranged for you from BIAP to you final destination. Be sure to leave a least one FULL day, 24 hours, between your final destination Military flight and Civilian flight for passport processing.
CPIC Embed Office
Thanks,
V/R,
