Trumpism As Post-Post-Modernism

This is a funky little tune going on my next CD, to be released in May, "Church of the Blues."

POST-MODERN BLUES

I'm obsolete. I'm living my life in the 20th century (2X).

I can't live in the one we're in, I can't hang with all this new technology

I'll never be post-modern. There's art, and then there's stuff that's false and fake(2X).

The plan's to dumb us down, so we're just good consumers, no mistake.

Don't use your mind. Everyone just keep your eyes glued to the screen (2X)

Don't think about the future, forget the past, and obey the machine

Don't look around the curve to see just what we've got in store

Hey, you ain't got the nerve to insist that we preserve you

Command and control, give up all hope for something more
