The time has come for the middle class to rise up and resist. I've created a Facebook group, Take Back the Democratic Party and America, as a place to share ideas on how to throw out the right wing, Clinton-wing, New Democrat neoliberal, anti-worker, corporation embracing people now leading and running the DNC and the Democratic party. Get involved with Our Revolution. Make a decision to work every day, doing something to undermine the power and leadership of the current sell-out Democratic leaders-- Schumer, Pelosi, Donna Brazile, Cory Booker".
There are ways to take back the representation that we the people deserve. Trump and the GOP offer a chimera-- a false populism. But so does the current Democratic leadership. Many former Democrats have written off the Democrats. I don't blame them, but there is a path to true bottom up democracy through the taking back of the Democratic party. We need to talk about it, about the issues, the problems, the parameters. That will be a major theme of my writing in the coming months.
