Into the Mystic was published simultaneously with another book, Prisoners of the Real: World Disorder, Rational Management and Dionysian Leadership. It examines the costs of our preoccupation with certainty and control and offers strategies for liberating individuals and groups.

MAB: Thanks, I read it, it was fascinating, and I am looking forward to reading the whole book! Is there anything else you'd like to share before we wrap up?
GG: Like much of my life, my writing has been a search for ways to connect conscience with consciousness. I sometimes call it metaphysical reconstruction, the reconciliation of two realms of experience that have long been viewed as separate the political and spiritual. Two keys to a new synthesis are ecological thinking and the post-modern politics of Gaia. Together, I believe they can help us to overcome the fears and divisions currently threatening civilization and continue to open the door to a new paradigm planetary consciousness.
GG: It's been a pleasure to share my writing and thoughts. As the Theosophists say, "There is no religion higher than truth."
