It sounds kind of out there. But, the thinking goes, enough is enough.
Stop voting for the lesser of two evils. You still end up with evil.
Vote for Bernie Sanders. Or Jill Stein. Or Elizabeth Warren. Or Cornel West. Or whomever you wish. Write them in if you have to. But make it clear. You will no longer be fooled by the kind of corporate bait-and-switch you were fooled by eight years ago.
In 2008 the neoliberals and the corporate wanna-be's controlling the Democratic party played the con to perfection, dressing up one of their own in progressive clothes and running him all the way to the White House. Eight years later working people are wondering what hit them.
It's spring 2016 and the DNC is deep into the rouse-the-rabble playbook, this time parading Hillary Clinton as the fake progressive. It's not going so well. Unlike Obama, Clinton has an extensive record. Oh boy does she have a record . Naturally, her corporate handlers don't want you looking there . They want you to fear a Trump presidency. They want you to think of history and the first female president and blah blah blah. They want you to play the apprentice . Again.
"Woopsy daisy!"
Don't listen to them. Not this time. This time you know better.
This time you're voting for good paying jobs and universal healthcare and strengthening Social Security and renewable energies.
You're voting for plowshares, not swords.
Anything less would be criminal.
