So now Gaza is aflame with Israel's overreaction to Hamas invading Israel on October 7 killings some 12,000 Israeli's and holding some 240 people hostage.
Some war mongers in the US congress want to bomb Iran because it supports Hamas actions in Gaza.
Yet there's been no evidence Iran, Hezbollah in Lebanon had anything to do with Hamas assault on Israel.
In fact Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in an interview earlier today that neither Iran or Lebanon want to engage Israel in a wider war. [1] Yet he lamented, "The US does not want to constrain Israel's military actions against the Palestinian armed group Hamas in Gaza".
He was asked why the US vetoed Russia's resolutions in the UN Security Council he replied, "Washington is highly ideologized".
"Anything coming from Russia is taken as a hostile act...But on substance, and on practical terms Washington does not want to tie Israel's hands".
Thus the UN Security Council's hands are tied powerless to bring about a ceasefire in Gaza primarily because of US opposition.
Even though President Joe Biden or Secretary of State Antony Blinken mouth their opposition to Israel's targeting innocent women and children in Gaza they don't demand Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu initiate a ceasefire.
It's just more US government duplicity. And what is shameless, the US main stream media has become the governments complicit enabler, no better than a bullhorn one would expect from the media in a totalitarian state.
The current MSM stands the Constitutions freedom of the press on its head.
