Trump didn't see another four years, and, for that, I'm grateful to Biden, grateful he was there in the White House. America retained its Constitution.
But every day the fascist loving, anti-democracy contingency stayed hard at work too. Americans lost Roe and the right to learn that history of American violence. Every day, we are losing the right to hear from others, sane , but with differing opinions. Differing experiences.
But
we have a chance to undo the damage! We won't hear the marching
boots outside our homes too soon. Maybe never"
I'm not a sorority "girl."Or woman. I was the first in my family to go to college in 1972. I was too much of a nerd, born with a heart condition; yet we all shouldn't have to be a member of fraternities or sororities or clubs in order to be recognized as human beings. But I couldn't have voted for Biden, and I suspect a significant number of progressives and young voting-age Americans would have stayed home too.
Maybe now, we have a chance to right this country.
