Genocide is to surround a civilian population and cut off their essential services, water, food, medical care, electricity and all communication in order to kill them by starvation, disease and suffering. That is what is happening in Donbas.
Genocide is to force people to flee from their homes so that their resources above and below the ground can be stolen from them. Genocide is ethnic cleansing and mass incarceration. That is what is happening in Donbas.
Friedman and the rest of the main stream media have ignored the real victims. Nobody is attacking Kiev. The people of Donbass are called "terrorists" for resisting their own slaughter.
Yes, Mr. Friedman people are shocked, but maybe not in the way you intended. People are shocked that you would brazenly exploit the Auschwitz commemoration to call somebody a "Hitler".
People are shocked that you would call for sending more lethal aid to Ukraine so that Kiev can kill more of their own people.
People are shocked that you would call for more economic sanctions that cause death and suffering to civilians, especially the young, the old and the helpless.
People are shocked that you would cheer for another Auschwitz.
Mr. Friedman: Have you no shame?
