But the silliness of the whole practical joke-- which, of course, is not just on the fiance'e, but also on the watching crowd of presumably uninvolved citizens (unless the entire gas station lot-full of people was hip to the gag)-- may keep it from becoming a popular right-wing meme.
The best we may hope for is that people forget it as soon as they see it. And may the two now so interestingly affianced marry and live happily and humorously ever after.
