And, if anyone expects Barack Obama to miraculously get us out of this mess, the only plan he has demonstrated thus far is the same Machiavellian plan Carl Rove used to get the present moron-in-chief George Bush elected. He avoids telling the truth.

Do not forget that Obama was one of those who unconditionally endorsed the $700 billion bailout of Wall Street – a bailout of the wealth on Wall Street not the US economy. Obama speaks of change but reveals himself as just another corporate bootlicking toadie. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

Of late, President-elect Obama has been busy stocking his new cabinet, hiring some very experienced people; people who know how broken and corrupt the system is - because they helped make it that way. Seriously, who better to understand the mind of the white-collar criminal, than white-collar criminals?

Obama must have a really sore ass from all that flip-flopping.

Any Democrat who endorsed Paulson’s bailout solution should be embarrassed and ashamed. Pumping billions into the largest banks and buying their stock at inflated prices. Buy high, sell low, smart move Henry.

The truth is, the system has trillions of dollars in bad assets on the books and it is broken. Many US banks are likely insolvent as I write these words, but officialdom is worried and suspiciously tight-lipped. If the public knew the whole truth, who knows where that would lead?

Let's face facts, politicians will promise to cut your taxes, they'll promise to cut your lawn too if that will get you to vote for them. It doesn't mean they're going to do it. Besides, if voting could really change things, it would probably become illegal.

The trillions of tax dollars being injected into the market isn't going to work. No one wants to lend. Banks are withholding their funds because they don't trust other banks, as they fear they may have sub-prime disease. And wait, Citigroup is next on the crash and burn hit parade. It will likely dwarf anything we’ve seen thus far.

True, no one really knows where all this will lead. Anyway, in the last eight (Bush) years, the average American has proven not to care about his or her personal freedoms, constitution, international reputation, healthcare or education...  BUT, MESS WITH AN AMERICAN'S MONEY AND.... well, so far, not a peep.

Remember your history people, if at first they don't succeed, they destroy all the evidence.
