This Chinese/American corporate alliance has a common objective which benefits both sides; one that greatly benefits China's economy and also generates massive profits for U.S. corporations. Let's be clear on this important issue. These corporations are willingly engaged in directly aiding and abetting China's objectives to become the world's #1 economic power, all for their own personal gain and, in doing so, they are working against the best interests of this country and its people.
When they deliberately lay off American workers and send these jobs to workers in China they are, without question, working against their own country. There is no doubt that this is the case and I would challenge anyone who would dispute that conclusion to show otherwise.
Let's talk about Communism and why it has been anathema to the United States for many decades. America went to war against Vietnam, whether justified or not, in the late 1950's with the specific objective to stop the spread of communism throughout the world. That war cost this nation the lives of 58,000 U.S. troops and hundreds of billions of dollars.
The Cold War between the U.S. and its Western allies and Russia and its Eastern Bloc allies lasted from 1947 until 1991 and mega-billions of dollars were expended by both sides in this gigantic struggle between these two opposing political ideologies; democracy versus communism. Russia, in fact, is still considered a major threat especially with its latest military advances in Ukraine and Crimea.
Communists have always been the enemy, the bad guys; that is, until the masters of Corporatism decided to embrace those in China in order to maximize their profits. And all the while this collusive arrangement has been going on, the U.S. government has conveniently looked the other way.
So what can we therefore conclude? Well, we'd have to still consider communism to be evil and a threat to our national security, right? Absolutely, without any reservations. So where do we go from there? Perhaps we have the answer if we expand our thinking a bit and make the determination that there are bad communists, as in Russia; but there are also good communists, as in China. And the difference is that the bad ones are those who won't back down from America in geopolitical matters while the good ones are those who embrace America's corporations in order to achieve their own goals.
And what about the American people, don't they see what's going on as their jobs flow to China and their incomes and their lifestyles continue to decline? Well, many millions of them don't realize what these corporations are actually doing and how they are betraying their own country. They don't seem to understand that their government, instead of doing something about it, has become complicit with Corporate America and its objectives. And, as is quite evident, most people don't really seem to care.
Many millions of people in this country are content to continue to keep buying cheap Chinese products at Wal-Mart and other massive retail chains that are the #1 customers for products MADE IN CHINA. As long as they can continue to buy this cheap crap then why should they care? As this scenario unfolds all around them and they see the middle class imploding they may sense that something really bad is happening but they just refuse to get involved in any way; they remain stone cold silent; apathy and submission reign supreme in this society.
