We all know the rest of the story, and now the window of history has moved to Iraq, were we see the insurgents, the terrorists, if you will, trying to remove the people with guns (George W. Bush and his military) from their country in a new revolution. However, sadly, world opinion is silenced on this subject, as the economic vitality of all of the players involved is more important than the self-determination of a small oil-rich nation. Where is the France to help the revolutionaries in Iraq? Where are the other Arab countries to assist Iraq in its quest to rid itself of a foreign invader? The world has remained silent on this issue, and the quest for the mother lode of Black Gold trumps all interests in human rights and the self-determination of developing countries.

What the Unites States needs more than ever is a young leader, like John F. Kennedy, to guide this once great nation back to the top position in the world in economic and humanitarian concerns. The Unites States can only achieve this paradigm if it leads by example, not by the present group of demented thugs who have taken over our constitutional form of government. We need a leader to take us away from Fossil Fuels and usher in an era of a new electric world.

I live outside of Atlanta, Georgia, and there are days in the summer when the weather stations declare a Code Red. This means to stay possibly indoors as the air quality is so poor it can damage lung tissue. Should humans choose to live in a world full of pollution and undrinkable water? Pollution that is so intense it causes damage to humans and other life?

I can envision a leader who will propose and mandate that electric cars must be on the roads now! Alternative energy sources must be developed and implemented as soon as possible.

We certainly do not need a $1 billion aid package sent to the Republic of Georgia to sustain an addiction that is poisoning human life and the planet, as well as possibly causing the next World War. Humans have evolved to such an extent that there are enough reasonable and educated people in the world to lead and guide us to a better life here on planet Earth. To all of the sick and demented people who steal all of the oil, and start all of the wars, how much money do you really need to live? How many cars, houses, and trophy wives do you need?
