"More Muslims have died at the hands of killers than "I say more Muslims "a lot of Muslims have died "I don't know the exact count "at Istanbul. Look at these different places around the world where there's been tremendous death and destruction because killers kill." GW Bush, 43rd President of the United States

Then, you run across things like #100 on page 45: "(TS" [7 characters REDACTED] ") Cables indicate that Agency interrogators" [8 characters REDACTED] "applied the waterboard technique to Khalid Shaykh Myhammad 183" [Rest of page 45 REDACTED]

I got part of the REDACTED portion of page 45. I know that "times" followed the 183. First, the entire world knows he was waterboarded 183 times. Why not just leave "times" (or whatever the word is) in the report? Second, I don't know but I would think any technique that threatens death sort of loses something after maybe 27 times. I didn't check my decoder ring, but I just cannot believe that if you pretend, for example, you're going to suffocate someone and you keep doing it over and over and over and over and the person you're pretending to suffocate holds information until say the one-hundred-and-sixteenth time and then starts spilling his (or her) guts and then gives you even more information from say the one-hundred-and-sixty-eighth time to the one-hundred-eighty-third time.

And, then, when you get to 183 how do you know that's the right number? Didn't anyone ask "You know, if we did this one more time, what do you think he'd tell us?" And, who in their right mind is sitting there counting? "No, Bob, I'm sure, that's only 132."

Who would think like this? What's the logic of the thought process? Even though James Bond escaped every time whenever one of the evil doers would be doing anything remotely close to torture, Bond would resist until he was able to escape, because he somehow knew that Blofeld, Goldfinger or Scaramanga weren't going to go all the way resulting in Bond's demise. How did Bond figure this sort of stuff out in a scene, but Khalid Bink Dinkdoink was still coughing up vital intelligence on the one-hundred-and-eighty-second time?

Of course I don't recall Bond ever having to wear diapers. Scarmanga is probably kicking himself for not thinking of that one.

I'm sorry, but whoever was in charge of this waterboarding stuff had obviously never picked up a Spy vs. Spy. He (or she) would have known better. Spy vs. Spy never did anything 183 times. Of course there were only maybe 8 or 10 panels in a strip, so the whole story sort of had to go fast, but even if there had been like 160 more panels, Spy vs. Spy got in and got out and got in and out fast. 183 of anything was never even a remote consideration.

"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we"..."They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we." GW Bush, 43rd President of the United States

Okay, so, there are obviously problems in what was left in the report. But now I come to the following more disturbing question of what was taken out. A classic example of what I'm talking about comes at the end of the preceding citation:
