Do we really know that the "Spend-thrift, Bankrupt U.S." isn't another nonentity like [real] "witches," McCarty's "57 communists in the State Department," "the Missile Gap," "North Vietnamese Aggression in the Tonkin Gulf," and "Saddam's Weapons of Mass Destruction?" Nonentities have been "talked into existence" before. If someone now is trying to persuade us of things that can be used to hurt us, shouldn't we talk back and refuse it? (250 words)
