Meanwhile, we watch the current race to market of novel technology covid-19 vaccines going straight to blindly trusting human subjects lining up as eager guinea pigs driven by virus phobia and desperation to regain their livelihoods. This Frankenstein technology predicts transforming human cells into self-generating vaccine factories, which unlike a passing virus will be irreversible and intergenerational.
A spirited non-partisan resistance is arising, especially in Europe, but will it be enough, in time, and sufficiently comprehensive in its vision? Beyond a limited, immediate resistance to an unacceptable transient reality, today's grotesque distortion of human normalcy begs a profound, existential, collective question: will we submit to a degraded humanity that has long been developing and now reaching its apex, which feels like an experimental collective ASD with us all out of touch with each other?
Or will we radically transform the system that allows vast power in the hands of tiny, untrustworthy, behaviorally masked minorities out of touch with us? The former would be the lazier choice, retaining faith in political and institutional parent figures and vulnerability to their delusions, deceptions and corruption. I recommend we instead choose the latter, more challenging, courageous, emancipating course.
