A bit of good old Rortyan playfulness, if you will!
Still, it seemed that wasn't the right thing to say.
But was there any right thing to say?
You should still be accountable for your choice of words; even then.
But why?
Can't you see I'm doing my very, very best?
You may well be.
But our best isn't ever "good enough."
It just can't be!
So, once you start saying:
I've ticked all those boxes, I've done my so-called 'privilege check.'
